What Goes On
If you would like to try nude sunbathing but feel that a public beach is just too 'public' for you, the answer may be a visit to a nudist club (nudist park). Unlike a public beach, which is by definition open to anyone, a nudist club is private with controlled access and strict rules for behavior. Compared to what goes on at any clothed beach, a nudist club is positively chaste! In fact, many first-time visitors remark on just how un-sexy a place it is. Few, if any, nudists would ever win any prizes in a beauty contest; they are just regular people with regular bodies. At a nudist club, no one cares what your body looks like. Compare that to the outside world! Not only are nudists the friendliest group of people you are ever likely to meet, at a nudist club, you cannot tell the executive from the waiter or the pilot from the truck driver. And no one cares. Your status in the outside world is of no concern.
No Gawkers
Because a nudist club is a private club, there are no gawkers. Such behavior would never be tolerated. If any voyeurs did show up (extremely rare), they would soon leave, because they would be bored to tears by the total lack of sexual stimulation. The problem for women is that they often feel that they do not have a good enough body to be a nudist. On the contrary, nudism tends to attract those women who do not have a good figure. A nudist club is the one place in the world where you will never be judged by your physical appearance. All nudists care about is whether you have a pleasant personality and can get along with others.
A Safe Place
Because a nudist club is a private club with controlled access, there is no safer place for a single woman to swim and sunbathe. There is no question that any unaccompanied single woman would be far safer sunbathing nude on the grounds of a nudist club than she would ever be on the beach in her bathing suit. Also, you will not be 'stared at by the men', male nudists have all seen a nude woman before, probably hundreds. A woman sunbathing alone on a clothed beach may be bothered by gawkers and Beach Romeos without being able to do much about it, a problem not encountered 'or tolerated' at private nudist clubs. Male nudists are not like men on a clothed beach!
Single Female Visitors
There are more single male nudists than single female nudists, probably because men are initially more comfortable with nudity. Interesting to note is that when a man and a woman visit a nudist club for the first time, it is usually the man who opted to go first, but it is almost always the woman who wants to return! A plus for single women who join a nudist club or group is that she will meet more eligible single men than she could possibly know what to do with. It is the best-kept secret in America that any single woman who becomes a nudist will have a virtually inexhaustible supply of single men to meet. (Most nudist clubs would love to have more single female members!)
