Photography     Discrimination

LARC Photography Policy


   All persons wishing to take photo(s) on LMRR grounds or at any LARC event must read and sign this Photo Policy statement and acknowledge form.


       1. Camera to be used must be tagged with authorization tag (provided by LARC).
       2. Under no circumstances shall any person be photographed, subject to exceptions listed below (see provisions 4, 5 and 6), without their expressed consent.
       3. Under no circumstances shall any minor be photographed with out the presence and permission of the minors' custodial parent or legal guardian.
       4. Photo(s) may be taken were a person might appear in the back ground without consent, only if the person could not be identified by the photo.
       5. By posing for a set group photo, consent is implied. This provision does not apply to minors.
       6. Any person that does not want their picture taken under any circumstance, shall request and be provided a Red Bracelet. It is understood that if a person is in back ground (see provision 4) may be photographed subject to that rule, and by posing in a group photo (see provision 5) you are expressly waiving your right to not be photographed.
       7. No videos may be taken at any time.
       8. Permission must be given for any publication of a photo in any medium, this includes but is not limited to print or the World Wide Web.

             (A) Individuals attending LARC sponsored events such as but not limited to dances, theme parties, houseboat trips may be asked upon arrival to grant permission to publish on the clubs' web site or news letter.

   Violation of the above policy may result in one or more of the following:

       Expulsion of the photographer from the event or the grounds.
       Confiscation or destruction of film or deletion of electronic media at the discretion of management.
       Confiscation of camera for duration of time at event or time on grounds.

   During some events or at times deemed appropriate by the board of directors a photo identification bracelet, necklace or other item approved by the board of directors may be required by all persons on the grounds.
